ARCHE INDUSTRIES

Design for Manufacturing.

Smith writes the CAD and runs the simulation. Scrapyard ships the part. One platform from requirements to your doorstep.

How Smith works

The distance between requirements and object, collapsed.

01

Describe

You describe the part in natural language and annotate the geometry the way you would sketch on a napkin. The agent writes the CAD, with Python as the source of truth.

02

Simulate

Suggest a load case and Smith simulates it in real time. GPU-accelerated structural and CFD analysis run while the design takes shape.

03

Build real

Fasteners and hardware come from live supplier catalogues, never unnecessarily built from scratch. When it's right, publish an immutable version, with geometry you can actually order.

CADGenBench

The best-in-class harness.

CADGenBench hands an agent a real engineering drawing and asks for the finished STEP file, scored against private ground truth for watertight validity, shape similarity, mating interfaces, and topology. Smith's harness, the same agent, skills, and build loop you get in the app, posts the highest generation score of any harness, clearing every frontier baseline.

DFM mode

Designed for the machine that makes it.

Flip Smith into DFM mode and every part is shaped by how it will actually be made. For 3D printing, the orientation solver ranks twenty candidate build directions and checks overhangs, bridging, minimum walls, and build-volume fit, with every check a pass, warn, or fail.

For sheet metal, Smith computes the flat pattern and the bend table with per-material K-factors, and exports a layered DXF ready for the laser, the waterjet, or the press brake.

Scrapyard

Closes the loop between the part you modeled and the part that ships to your doorstep.

Scrapyard is the marketplace and discovery layer wrapped around Smith. Every published part is an immutable snapshot with a live 3D preview. Browse what's trending, praise what's good, and remix anything: deep-clone a design into your own project and keep editing.

The parts are real components from real supplier catalogues, so every object becomes a base file anyone can fork, customize, and reorder.

One day soon, in a hangar somewhere, someone is going to walk in with a laptop, fire up a Smith file, and walk out with an X-wing.
